Mamma Mia!

Yet another example of why people seem to respect Mother so much.
As guest editors of creative review, they have decided to offer one page of the magazine to anyone (barring advertisers/companies) to do anything they like.

Brilliant idea. Can't wait for the results.

Bid here!

Don't get me wrong - it's a great idea by a great agency [I did work there afterall, ha!] ... but it is still basically the same mechanic CP+B did when launching Coke Zero.

I didnt know you worked there!
You've been everywhere!

I havent seen the CP+B work, I assume its better than the UK work!

Yes ... a long time ago and then we set up Cynic and we worked with CP&B. I'm basically a whore - but at least a high-class one, hahaha

I wouldn't say the CP&B is better - it's just basically the same principal of using ebay as a PR/Comms driver. Good one though - but then so was viral before companies exploited [read: spoilt] it.

Doesnt that make you the Julia Roberts (in Pretty Woman) of adland?

I actually meant that the CPB work for Coke Zero must surely have been better than the awful UK Coke Zero work.

Surely.

Please.

For all our sakes...

Of course it was better - it could hardly be worse unless they decided COKE Zero had to model itself on ads in the style of Cough Medicine.

My thoughts exactly. I couldnt possibly imagine CP+B could create anything half as bad; but I wanted to check!

Hey Rob,

i personally really like this. creative expression and all that. though I would have preferred a lottery-style system - this one kinda precludes entry from anyone that's not, well, minted

The Julia Roberts of advertising meets The Paris Hilton of advertising. That's brilliant. Next meeting Rob, I'll pretend to be Britney Spears.
By the way, shouldn't this blog now be 'The ad pit as seen in campaign?'

Sing your heart out Mrs (or is that now Miss) Spears!

Oh and, yes. Yes it should ;)

I STILL havent seen it yet though, my brother found the only copy in existence up north (they mistook Leeds for Kings Cross probably)... but its still in Leeds!
