Going to Cheetham Bell JWT (hence the welcome from Graham Furlong!)

Thanks folks!

Graham ... you have done something very smart indeed.

It's great news for Rob and for you and I look forward to seeing the fruits of your labour.

Rob...
Fucking brilliant. Manchester... My birthplace on Factory Road... Only Manchester would name a road after a factory! Britains best looking women (even though my wife is from Liverpool) Best Football team. Used to be the best beer... Boddingtons, then the fuckers moved it somewhere else. Wankers. You will do well. I used to work with an AD named Graham Furlong in New York... He was an Irish piss artist... Can it be the same one?
Cheers/George

Cheerful AND grumpy, true George Parker gold!

Thanks :)

It's a great city, looking forward to being there.

It doesn't sound like the same one, but you never know in this crazy world of ours!

If it's the same Furlong, when we worked on the AmEx account, in the interest of doing research on their restaurant stuff. We went to Smith and Willensky (very posh) and spent $800 on lunch!!! Lobster steaks Wine cognac big cigars. Fucking brilliant. When we expensed it the AE went apeshit. Fucking wanker.
Ah, the good old days. Ask him if it was him. But if he works in Manchester, he probably does fish and chips for a couple of quid.
Good luck on the job. Give us regular updates. If they are all wankers, you can post on AdScam about it... I'll keep it secret!
Cheers/George

Doesn't sound like the same guy then, I don't think he stretches back to your good old days ;) !

Thanks. I'm sure they won't be though!

Well done, although you could have stayed in Sheffield and supported local agencies by working at Dig for Fire, Uber, Iris etc.

;)

I did have a couple of interviews at a very well known place in Sheffield.

But I have to go where the best opportunities are!
