Scamper Off

Sad news in the adblog land sphere type place, Scamp has decided to finish his blog.

As one of the first creatives to create a really good blog, its a shame to see him go. Though Scamp became a hive of bitchy anonymous comments in recent times, it always said interesting things and carried good debate.

HHCL Yeah

Great post from Scamp asking creatives to think about what HHCL would do. List of product benefits mixed into an amusing scenario? Brilliant.

It's also an opportunity to replay a phenomenal ad that deserves a place in HHCL and indeed the UK's finest ads of all time. Count the product info here, but you barely notice it. Their ads are the FedEx arrow (design in-line there).

What would HHCL do?

It's Oh So Quiet

.....

With the Kaiser, Charles Frith and Rob Campbell away the blogosphere seems pretty quiet right now.

I suggest in the meantime you visit Scamp who has some fascinating debates going on.

Its a good week...

For people I know in the blogosphere.

Just found that not only am I in Campaign's best of the blogs again this week for my comments on the new Carling ad, but Chimp and Scamp are in there too.

While one of the best ads Rob C has ever been involved in (see below) is listed in Campaign's top ten bravest ads of all time.
